Your ego, briefly

Just wanted to pass along a great morsel of writing. I found the page tucked into my back pocket, a folded glossy ripped from the March 21 issue of the The New Yorker.

The line is contained in Dana Goodyear’s profile of a therapist for screenwriters:

“Procrastination … [is] the ego’s way of claiming that it has all the time in the world…”

What a fantastic description.
